Automation that runs Built EK · 2024–26 · 13 images · 7 videos
Two Festo stations running as one line: the part is drilled, sorted, and the operator follows it on the HMI. Problem Machines have to run on their own: in auto and manual, safely, with the operator in control. My role Programming in every project: PLC, HMI, robots and vision. Solo on PID control and the tub washer. Result Festo lines and a process plant running on real equipment, a robot cell guided by vision and tuned control loops. Skills PLC programming · Sequence design (SFC) · Robot programming · Machine vision · Process control (PID) · Industrial networks · Electrical design · Machine safety and CE · Simulation · Prototyping Tools Siemens S7‑1200/1500, TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, Denso RC8, WINCAPS III, Universal Robots, Omron FQ2, Profinet, Arduino, Python, SEE Electrical, Factory I/O. PLC and sequences · TIA Portal The processing station: turntable, drill and check.
A full sequence drawn as SFC before it is coded.
The Plant block: auto, manual and stop, reused across projects.
Palletising line in Factory I/O, run by a PLC program.
Robots and vision A Universal Robots cobot picks a bottle.
Robot program for a Denso robot in WINCAPS III.
Designed: pallet pattern for a palletising robot.
Designed: line with two robots, vision and safety zones.
Process control Cascade control on a real plant: primary and secondary loop.
PID tuning on a simulated heated tank.
The Festo process plant used for PID (Festo product photo).
Electrical and safety Main circuit for a tub washer, drawn in SEE Electrical.
Tub washer case: I designed the control, drawings and CE papers.
Designed: component list and price for a full line.
Prototyping · Python and Arduino Pico Go robot running my MicroPython code.
The Pico Go base: five IR line sensors and two motors.
Top plate with a 1.14-inch LCD, programmed in MicroPython.
Arduino and a 3D-printed servo mechanism.
A marble lift: motor, spiral and track.

Wrinkle control in fabric printing In use Rodinia Generation · 2026 · 12 images · 1 video
The problem: fabric folds on its way from the printer to the curing unit. Problem Fabric wrinkled between the feeder, the printer and the curing unit. Every wrinkle meant a faulty print, wasted fabric and an operator who had to watch the line. My role Final project of my AP degree in Automation Technology, written during a 10-week internship at Rodinia Generation. I did the analysis, tests and concepts alone, and built an alarm system for the line from idea to production. Result Root cause found and three concepts ranked for Rodinia. The alarm system runs in production today. Skills Root cause analysis · R&D · Iterative testing · Systems thinking · PLC programming · MQTT and Node-RED Tools Arduino Opta PLC, C++, MQTT, Node-RED, inductive and laser sensors, stack light. Alarm in production From sensor to PLC, MQTT, dashboard and stack light.
The alarm logic in C++ with a 300 ms trigger delay.
The alarm box: Opta PLC, power and terminals.
Inductive sensors on the line.
Installed under the line.
The problem A wrinkle forming in the fabric.
Fishbone analysis: mechanics, material, process and control.
My sketch of the fabric path through feeder and printer.
Concepts Three zones along the line, each with its own job.
Support roller before ARCS.
The roller on a 45 mm aluminium profile.
A laser line that detects folds over 5 mm.

A concert hall the students build themselves Next phase EK · Goldschmidts Musikakademi · 2026 · 15 images · 2 videos
The 1:10 model: stage modules, the students' curtain, then the moss screens. Problem A music school's main hall had to work as a professional venue and still feel like the students' own room. My role Five-day international, cross-disciplinary workshop at EK in a group of six. I built the Rhino model of the hall, researched the acoustics and made the 1:10 model with laser-cut and 3D-printed parts. Result Goldschmidts is taking the concept further. Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles liked it so much that they want our group to design and build the stage for their school. Skills Co-creation · User insight · Cross-disciplinary teamwork · International collaboration · 3D modelling · Rapid prototyping · Acoustics · Concept development Tools Rhino, Bambu Lab 3D printing, laser cutting. The room Walkthrough in Rhino: concert, star sky, wheelchair ramp and moss rooms.
Students' curtain, stage modules and the star sky.
The hall in Rhino, split into zones.
Theatre setup under the star sky.
The screens as whiteboards for meetings.
The stage Seven hexagon modules, 25 cm high.
Split into islands for workshops.
With a 1:17 ramp for wheelchairs.
Concert stage at night under the star sky.
Moss screens Three panels on wheels, moss on one side.
The same screens with warm LED light.
Two screens joined as a 6 m wall.
The students' felt patchwork on the other side.

A pop-up spice shop on wheels Pitched EK · ĀŠĀ, Torvehallerne · 2026 · 12 images
The mock-up: a cargo bike where the box is both storage and shop. Problem A spice shop in Torvehallerne wanted to sell at markets, food halls and festivals. Everything had to fit in one trailer, keep the spices dry and still feel like the real shop. My role Client project at EK in a group of six. I led idea generation, structured and scored the ideas with the Delft Design Guide, modelled the bike and its five scenarios in Rhino and built the mock-up. Result A cargo bike with a shop box that lifts off and stands on its own. It rides to events within 10 km and packs into the trailer for the rest. The owner liked the idea and wanted to keep working on it. Skills Fuzzy front end · Design brief · Client interview · Idea generation · Structured design (Delft Design Guide) · Concept evaluation · 3D modelling · Mock-up building Tools Rhino, laser cutting, Miro. One box, five scenarios S1 Transport: everything packed in the box.
S2 The bike is the shop: tables out, parasol up.
S3 The box lifts off the bike.
S4 The box as a shop on its own wheels.
S5 Next to the bus Hope under one sail.
In colour Mock-up From the side: box, tables and parasol, all laser-cut.
The box on its own wheels, lid folded out.
